Coaching Inn

This 'Coaching Inn' as I'd like to call it was inspired by a Warhammer miniature. The model and textures are relatively old, it used to have a 2048x2048 + 512x512 texture, but I re-unwrapped it and cut out parts of the texture to create smaller tilable maps. I also got rid of the excessive specular-maps and converted the diffuse maps into specular maps through UT3's shader network.

As for now it uses three 256x256 + three 512x512 diffuse and normal maps. I plan on cutting down the size of the 512's into 256 maps aswell, but it'll require some more work and re-texturing, so for now I left them as is. The triangle count for this model is 3349. Please note that the foliage, terrain and props are not included in the tri/texture speccs listed.

Despite the low texture-sizes for some of the materials such as the wood and stucco, a well tiling pattern gives sharp textures even at closeup views. Only the stone, roof and 'misc' texture have a 512x512 size. The 'misc' texture containing things such as the windows and the door etc. And to give the brick-work a nicer feeling I also added in a parallax map for it, being stored in the diffuse's alpha channel. Also, please note that everything in this scene were created by me, no models/textures are ut3 stock-material or work from other artists.
